IHOP to Eliminate Frying Oil Containing Trans Fats by Year End
"As the supply of artificial trans fat free oil has become more readily available, we feel comfortable making the system-wide switch in all of IHOP's 1,319 restaurants," said Dustin Dixon, Ph.D., IHOP's Vice President, Product, Quality Assurance and Procurement. "IHOP is committed to providing our guests with a menu filled with delicious choices, and we're pleased to provide guests with menu items that meet their needs without affecting the taste and flavor they expect."
IHOP is continuing work with its suppliers to eliminate artificial trans fats from the balance of its menu.
